Relatives and friends of the late ‘Earnie’ Earnest John McKenzie of Geraldton are respectfully informed that a Service to pay tribute to Earnie’s life will be taking place. It is with sadness that Earnie’s service will be by limited invitation due to current funeral size restrictions.
A recording of the funeral service will be posted on this page following the service conclusion.

Condolences to Lorraine, Naomi, Raleigh and family. We are sorry that we will not be able to say goodbye with you but we will always remember member Earnie and our wonderful times with the Carnarvon Horsemens Club. Boolathana campouts, the Junction Races and the gymkhanas at the race course. These are some of the happiest memories of our lives. Thanks Earnie (and Lorraine). Thinking of you Lorraine and all of the family at this very sad time. We have very fond memories of Ernie when he worked for poolside services. E had my three kids convinced he was from sesame st and that Bert was at home. Each time my kids came to the pool shop they would excitedly run in the Ernie to see if Bert was with him that day hahahahaha. He was always good for a laugh. I thing that I will remember about him always. I am thankful that I fought up with Ernie at the Wandina shops just recently and had a great catch up chat. Earnie, there was a time that you were a second Dad to me and Lorraine a second Mum,
I cherish the memories of the times we had. The open door, ready smiles and no adventure too big or small on the back of a horse.
I believe you were a blessed gentleman Earnie. Good fun, a love for the bush and all if it’s characters.
